all of those… probably author tho! if i either know the author irl or have enjoyed the authors books before then i will read it! on the other hand, if its a rec from someone i trust ill read it. the cover tho does have to look appealing tho for me to be excited about reading it. and obv i cant read a book without knowing what its about and the more exciting the blurb, the better:)

I think the cover and blurb are the biggest thing for a lot of people
