Finished chapter 5. He made me think when he said its not about not trusting the bible but whose interpretation of the bible. He made me think when he said if Peter was able to be infallible for a few instances to write the scripture why couldn’t he be also to lead the Church. I had never seen the connection to the OT when it comes to being infallible charge of a kingdom’s “keys” and how it was successive.

It was very touching to read about the struggle in their marriage with divided beliefs, I fully felt the mental pain involved in trying to know if Catholicism is right or not. I appreciated reading the reality of how their Protestant friends treated them.

Listening to this in Spanish audio. I love his emphasis on how his evangelism and reformed faith and those of others came from a place of love and desire to serve God, which helps me overcome the calvinist mantra of “those who convert were simply just never saved/never sincere of their faith.” He has also made me curious about all matters “covenant”.
