knausgaard is probably my favorite author at this point, as much as i love joyce. the way he captures this point in life is painfully relatable and honest. even if it wasn’t relatable there is so much truth in his words that make it so much greater than the story of a little insecure and impulsive young man who is trying to find his place in his community/the world
