Book starts out with the FMC being admitted to a home for delinquents, but she has no memory of why or what happened, other than there was a fire. There are two other girls at the youth home, who seem spiteful and deceptive. The story picks up the pace when the MC learns that she is stuck in some weird loop which resets her memory when she goes into the water. They have all been here before…but why? What happened?
