Jack seeing the mansion/having the past come full circle was nice. To see something in reality when it was only in your head before is great.

Talking about killing the sister and then saying I love you is so strange to read- I’m just not emotionally attached to their characters yet.

I’m not clear if they had the kid before or after she became the Commander- sounds like before but it’s all a little messy either way.

I was surprised Jack mentored and liked the sister when she first came to the prison- that makes it all worse to me vs. him being picked randomly for his looks alone.

The Commander releasing Peter and telling him where to go was a big shock- definitely didn’t see that coming. And so sad that the son has a little of the mother’s red hair.

Jack and Peter’s reunion was so sweet. In the beginning, Nyx’s idea of shooting a hit deer to put it out of it’s misery made more sense but now Posey saving Peter was obviously the right choice- Jack might not have survived without him.

I’m glad Nyx txtd her sister when she split from the group.

I like how Nyx felt rage and realized that was Rhage’s name. I can’t figure out why Nyx would think Jack was purposely avoiding Nyx- unless because of shame from his torture even though he was the victim.

Even after knowing what her sister did to the Jackal, I was surprised Nyx took so much care wrapping up and placing her body at the wall. I would have wanted to chop her up or burn her up or something horrible after what she did to all the prisoners and the ones Nyx knows.
