Life is too short to try and read a book you don’t feel anything towards. I have plenty of other books on my tbr that are from Maōri and Polynesian voices that i know I will love and one that sounds very similar to this that I will try soon instead if I can get it. It might be short but the writing style isn’t clicking for me like I’d hoped
