"The boys areright. they are men, and heroes, and they have to act as they think best." - She just called them boys and then she uses the word 'men'. Which could show she doesn't truely see them as men?

"I wish I understood why she wouldn't let me heal her. It might all make more sense if I could understand that." - Death always brings the 'what ifs' into play.

Apollo is just sad and I don't like his character in this book.

"Her absence was like a presence, but Father's grief was like a huge sucking whirlpool that threatened to sweep everything up and carry it away."

I really like this quote.

"There were women trained in logic who were prepared to argue that they didn't deserve citizenship, and that they were inferior to men." (P46) - This was a really interesting point that was made and I'm curious on what would the agruments be like and how it would have been explored.
