from a conservative pov, i love reading books or poems that remind me that we should always be open to studying and learning about opposing views to have a truer understanding of the world and our society. i think more people should be understanding the criticisms and concerns that go along with being a human being in all factions of our life, and ginsbergs passion for anti-industrial capitalism is thought-provoking

his writing is so unique - i feel like i could read this over and over again for years and still find something new that i never saw before
there's such a smooth complexity to the way he portrays the vast loneliness and disillusionment in the inner consciousness of poets, how the elements of Time aren't too prevalent but orchestrated in a way where it feels so big and impactful mix with all of the biblical allusions>

the fact that he wrote this FOR Jack Kerouac is insane i can't wait to read this
