Not even a quarter through the book & this book just makes me so incredibly sad and disgusted

America never fails to disappoint in its history and in its “intellectual” thought, especially during the southern antebellum era.

Also respectfully hope that J. Marion Sims is burning hell where he belongs because that man was fucking garbage and doesn’t even deserve the title doctor let alone father of gynecology
