Wow. Ana Huang is truly magnificent at depicting the male ego and male gaze. Unfortunately, this well written (hopefully) description of a man’s thought process while he’s completely controlling Ava’s life is only feeding my misandrist tendencies further. He says that he already wants to “strangle” her, and they say romance is dead.
