i think i will stop it here. There's too much stuff off page and the wrong things get page time. The 2nd half completely derailed this otherwise 5 star story. i'll probably rate this a 2.5 and end it there. i invested so much into tjese 2 men, it feels insanely unfair how their love story got undermined like that.

There's so much off page sex. For a couple that's constantly talking about sex, we're not privy to it. And the 2nd half of the book falls flat bcuz too much is just narrated over with a heap of time skips. i think if the book didn't waste time on Adrian (who's not even the mc here) they could use those pages on the couple spending more time on page. Maybe make it a bit spicy too? Cuz it ain't.

I'm with you Sao I think I got about this far and then lost interest? Love the author but this one lost my attention.

@Sandy omg really? 😭 It feels downright fowl to have their entire half of the relationship push back to off page. We see nothing. Makes me weary of trying this author's other works. Maybe other books are not like this?
Try the Painted Bay series (books 2 and 3 are strongest) and the Mackenzie County series. I love them. Also Flare and Strut (I did not care for Sass)
