David’s Reviews > How Queer Bookshops Changed the World > Status Update

A fascinating and heartfelt look at how queer bookshops became so much more than places to buy books. I loved learning about their role in creating community, sharing knowledge, and giving people a sense of belonging during difficult times. A.J. West brings an important part of LGBTQ+ history to life with warmth, humor, and plenty of fascinating stories. An inspiring reminder of how powerful books and the spaces that hold them can be.
