I hate to say it, but I am not making much progress in this book. It may just not be the right time to read it. I may remove it from currently reading and make it a "want to read" until I feel like I want to pick it up again.

I love T. Kingfisher. Her writing is easy to devour. Happy to return to this one.

The initial feelings of dread I felt going into the house with our main character and surveying the darkness inside along with its pale, sickly occupants, is leaving me with more questions than answers. I found I adore T. Kingfisher, but this book isn't grabbing me like others yet.
