I don't know what to think of it really.... I've reached the part where they start to warm up to each other. It was pretty fast, as you said they went from disliking each other to liking each other quickly. But it's a novella, so it's understandable and they never seemed to me like they hated each other in the first place.
I never liked books with family feuds, and this one is no exception! I'm tired of the "Oh you're a Crosby so of course you'd do this" and " you can't be trusted because you're a Chandler..." this is why I don't like family feuds.
As for the characters, I haven't been able to connect with any of them so far :/ but I'd say that I prefer Bart to Hannah,though. She's kind of annoying.
What do you think of it so far? or have you stoped reading it since your last update?

I hate family feuds, too. It's so ridiculous that grown people would hate each other without even knowing why... I agree, it's annoying that the only reason she won't trust him is his last name. I mean. He's done nothing wrong. Ever. Not liking his mother I'd get, but him?
I can't really connect with them either, and I agree, Bart over Hannah. I hate how all she will think of is the stupid horse and how everything affects her and no one else...

It seems that we're in agreement :) I just finished it. I can't say that the ending changed my mind about the book... I mean I just couldn't buy it that they fell in love so fast! I'm going to have to think about my rating

Ok then I'll hurry up with the last chapter :) So far I'm somewhere at 2 stars? I don't really see yet how this ties in with the rest of the series, but we'll see ^^ Do you want to start the first book in the series right away?

Aww guys! I'm sorry it didn't work for you...probably because the other novella was so awesome. I really think you will like the first book though. It started slow, but the character development was really good in the longer format.

Yes, it's probably because of the other novella. In the other novella, it was easy to believe that they fell in love because they've know each other for so long. In this one, I just couldn't believe that they fell in love so quickly and the family feud theme did bother me... so that's why I didn't enjoy as much.

I agree. This was just too short. In the other novella those two had an existing relationship before the story started but here it was just all happening too soon...

Should I set up a BR thread in our group for the book? I think it will make it easier for us to really discuss it, even if it's just the two of us
