I’m so glad you’re reading this! I just finished Persuasion and wrapped up this book. So so good. I love how she went deeper into themes that are somewhat noticeable in the books and provided the historical context needed to see how radical those themes really were at the time. The chapter on Persuasion really blew me away. I won’t spoil it for you but I didn’t know all the info about Lyme that she shared. Mind blown.
