This is waaayyyyyyy too flowery for me...almost like a fairy tale crossed with Hardy's descriptive writing. Make it stop. I'm just glad this book isn't longer than it is.

It's almost like someone dared him to write a Thomas Hardy novel. I wonder if there will be a crazy, sad ending.
Yeah they are pretty, but there are too many and I don't like this many. LOL
Definitely too many for how little is happening! I've never read more detail about embroidery in my life. 🤣
