For so long nothing happened, and then all of a sudden at the end the action picked up and left off on a cliffhanger. She had so much to talk to Daniel about and didn’t have one conversation with him. It was annoying how things kept being pushed off. They just barely scratched the surface of what’s going on, just enough to kind of go there, but more should have happened in this one. Well, onto the next.

It’s slow on action so far, that’s for sure. Maya isn’t super likable. It’s crazy how she made almost the same exact relationship dynamics in this series. I can’t wait for things to go there between them.

Dec 12 Cliffhanger endings, ugh. So much happened it was too much to process for a first book. I'm not really eager to find out what happens next. I didn't like the format and the way the scenes played out. It was monotonous.
