So everything's fine, but there's a hundred pages to go so maybe everything's not fine... a hundred pages to end on a cliff hanger would be diabolical, but nothing is happening

Maybe I've read too many cheesy enemies to lovers trope type books, but tell me why I kinda want her and Bastone to be end game.... like I know they won't, but deep down he seems like a truly decent dude who's really just following orders... alas

I can't decide if both the main characters are terrible and going to have some sort of redemption arc or if they're just terrible. Cause I don't like them right now...
