When I read this book for the first time probably 7 years ago, I remember the section on fatherhood being a highlight. I still believe this to be the case. His two chapters on fatherhood, and keeping the hearts of our children/fatherly discipline are an antidote to the “popular psychobabble” (his own words) and soft therapeutic parenting of today.
