GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY I WAS RIGHT WE DID GET A DANCE SCENE tho it did subvert my expectations!

The dance scene wasn't the main romantic scene because Jess is having a hard time and not feeling well, and Aidan is stressed the frick out for Maisie. Their scene outside of the barn was the main tea. It was handled well with Jess and Aidan being more comfortable sharing personal info with eachother. And the walk home CUTEE

YOOOOO ARE WE GETTING A JESS AND AIDAN DANCE SCENE?!?!?! WE ARE AREN'T WE?!?! JESS GET YO MANNSSSSSS

I just remembered that the characters in this book are British. My day is ruined.

Okay so I admit I didn't completely understand the appeal of Aidan other than that he looks good, but after this chapter, I can see why. He communicated his feelings honestly and strongly despite his feelings and I love that. He also establishes boundaries quite well.

And his name is Aidan. AIDAN. WITH AN A. AND HE'S SO MATURE??? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE
