Chapter 2 (on Power in Marriage) is definitely slanted toward addressing problems with overly assertive/insistent husbands. That said, the problems are real and should be addressed. Chapter 3 is very helpful and has some good practical guidance on formulating and casting a shared family/marriage vision. Chapter 4 is okay, but somewhat shortsighted in that it misses the concept of a productive household.

Some good insights in the intro and first chapter, but a bit underwhelming in terms of how it defines power, and the illustrations drawn from controlling/abusive marriages are not realistic.
