I'm not that far into it and not a lot has happened, but the writing style is somehow very outstanding.
Reading this is somehow relaxing and awesome at the same time.

The characters seem interesting and are introduced/characterized in cool ways. I really like the way Lily's "room" is described—quite cozy.

And somehow the Cold War-like fear of communism and "the reds" is funny to me
