As absurd as the book is so far, the metaphors hidden within show a realistic truth for today’s legal system.

Defendants and those who seek the truth are being punished and silenced for reasons the court was originally instated to defer. The justice system is quite literally broken.

As a result, others—like Josef—aren’t able to fully acquit themselves of their charges. Which, as far as I know, is jackshit.
