Man this book is annoying me. I don’t like parallel timeline books to begin with (PWMOV, as much of a masterpiece as it was, was a SLOW read for me because of this) and the miscommunication between them and the decade apart is just dumb. I don’t love Zoe either! Spineless. And Chase is annoying! Why didn’t you call her? You love her so much but oh, not make any effort for 10 years? Not compelling.
