It’s mating season for the Basilisks. So they all get into a huge 69 circle. Tem wants to participate but is characteristically anxious and controlling about it, wanting to choose the partners for both herself and Caspian.
It’s a munchfest. And then Apollo starts picking through the Basilisks in front of him to get to Tem.
