Benevolent sexism: putting women on a pedestal like “Motherhood is the most important job in the world” but really they can stand still on it or fall off, it’s still sexism.

Women have expertise in just about every issue because of gender yet men create our way of life in womanless rooms making decisions for the betterment of society. It’s delusional, unethical, & dangerous.

Deciding to become a mother in the U.S. is among the worst facial decisions a woman can make. Average cost $30-50k or half of that with insurance. Plus $11k average reduction in pay for moms getting new jobs. The rising maternal mortality rate while it costs next to nothing to give birth & live in other developed countries. Women should be angry about all the changes brought on & surrounding pregnancy + motherhood.

Women’s pain & anger is treated the same. People expressing pain are viewed as more feminine and thus a lower pain tolerance when in reality they are expressing pain in a way they were socially conditioned to by gender norms. The level of pain may be the same between 2 but expressed differently, doesn’t mean they have different tolerances.
