I love Berserk! I really really do!

Windham feels like Bloodborne! With all the mist and monsters prowling around. I’m glad that Sir Laban and the others are still alive, I’m interested where their story goes!

I can’t believe that Griffith went back to Princess Charlotte! That scene was so pretty! (But I still hate Griffith! FUCK GRIFFITH!) the way it was composed is so good! With his shadow overlapping the embroidery of him, so pretty! The embroidery was so good! Princess Charlotte is really good! Flying the bed out of the tower felt like something out of a fairy tale! But I’m scared for what’s to come for her.

The scene where they’re inside were breeding Daka/demon babies was horrendous. I think it is exactly what happened to Casca. Poor thing! I wonder if Casca will ever go back to normal! I really hope that she will someday. I’m glad that Farnese is taking on magic! Since she’s not so good with a sword might as well learn magic so she could protect herself and Casca at least when needed.

I don’t care much about the Midland-Kushan war. But the Bakiraka really are an incompetent bunch! And the Kushan Emperor surely is someone with demonic powers. I just wonder how he came to have them in the first place. The Daka and other elephant things (forgot their name) reminds me of the Apostles, only weaker. But what is he? He looked like a fire spirit! But I don’t really know.

The scene where they’re inside and eating Serpico’s meal was nice. Farnese had put her coat on Casca’s shoulders, that’s sweet. And Puck talking about his home! I can’t wait to see it! And Isidro saying Elfhell instead of Elfhelm was funny! Farnese asking Schierke to teach magic was great! I had a feeling that her story would go in that direction! It’s a shame that I didn’t write about it!

Seeing Casca and Isidro happy and playing together at the beach was so sweet! Poor things deserve a moment of peace. Guts has been badly injured, lost some weight, and his hair whitened (partially) from all the stress on his body and mind. I feel so bad for him. But the armor is gonna come in handy in the future, I am certain of it. It’d interesting to explore it and its effects more!

Flora erecting a wall of fire that Grunbeld, a literal dragon, couldn’t manipulate was so cool! What a powerful witch! I love all the scenes of Schierke and Guts! Their relationship is wholesome! The scene where he put her hat back on her head after it got blown away by the wind so so sweet! The final chapter as a whole was so wholesome! I loved it so so much! I’m scared for what’s to come.

The art of this volume had been out of this world! The Berserker Armor is so cool! And I like the fact that it consumes the one wearing it. And it’s important to have someone drag them back to their selves before they lose themselves in the anger and hatred and revenge. That scene where Schierke was navigating Guts’s memories was so powerful! What a story!
