I like it so far. I like the characterization of both the cat, Leo and Madalyn’s mom. I do wish Madalyn was more sensitive with her mom tho when they were talking about what seems to be Leo developing Alzheimer’s. Her mom just died and it was only one snappy comment, and it’s only chapter 2, but i would assume someone who loves cats would be very considerate and kind.
