the concept of The Holy Order in this book taking from various religions and spiritual beliefs for their own "protection from pollution" while they then hold themselves as a higher authority and kill literal creatures of folklore and mythology. im obsessed.

while some of the mythology choices are a little silly in this book there is an overarching theme and allusions going on with The Holy Order (Christianity) killing innocent Polish Folklore creatures (Paganism) in this book and i fuck with it so heavily bro
