This book contains Vol. I & II of The Horizontal Society, as well as two essay collections. So far it's been a very illuminating read, but İ really wish the editor had been a bit more thorough as there are quite a lot of passages that are repeated verbatim in different chapters in a way that was clearly not intentional and makes the chapters in question read like a draft rather than a finished work.

While Text & Society was a lot shorter than The Horizontal Society, in spite of not being as rich, it was also a lot more cohesive, better edited, and less prone to clumsy polemics.
