Just got blocked from a m/m-book group on facebook for mentioning this book. The admin added an "admin note" that this book is not m/m but "classified as historical fiction". Well, pointing out that it's historical fiction with m/m and one of the earliest books to be very open about it was enough to kick me out obviously.
If you read this: there's nothing subtle about the gay romance and sex here. Nothing!

I just realised that what I remembered as being the prelude to the story of this book is actually more than 25% of it. 😆

Another re-read of one of the earliest m/m-books I read in the early 2000s.
