Okay, after finishing From Blood and Ash, I have no desire to continue to Book 2 right now. After also learning a major spoiler for Book 4, I've officially decided to DNF the series.

HOWEVER... I've heard the prequel series is so much better, and that the MMC is actually amazing. So, here we are, starting this one!
