i also feel nonfic, especially this type of christmas list covers that i always see (i live by a bookshop), suffers from either being too broad and covering every nook and cranny OR being so hyperfocused it is a drag. I say this cautiously but I feel it they need to think more about narrative and storytelling, like how a good documentary creates conversation between the audience, their lived experience, the contributors, and the context of the contributors enviroment... or atleast attempt to.
