I appreciated this book’s coverage of the Polio epidemic. That is a pretty heavy period to revisit and Ann Tatlock did a good job covering it. I will say that in terms of a Christian novel, it lacked biblical allusion for my preference. But it still did a good job addressing themes like forgiveness, letting go of the past, and living a new life in Christ as a new creation
