bought it in an airport for my hols, I loved Elif’s book “there are rivers in the sky”, thought it had a bit of a slow start, but this is literally flying through me. I love the way she writes her characters and I can tell she has a soft spot for crazed scientist types.

finally found out why she’s yelling appaz, the book’s moving a lot slower than i thought but still enjoyable. I think Shafaz’s books tend to have this sort of structure where it’s all revealed at the end like one big surprise.
