I would love to be able to read about the impact of technology on human lives from someone who did not think technology was either the salvation we've been seeking or putting us directly on the road to Hell. Turkle is a scientist, an anthropologist. How am I supposed to take her observations seriously when she makes it clear from the outset she finds the impacts of technology on relationships disturbing and wrong?
