I do this for every Madeline Miller novel, most historical fictions, etc... I have to respectfully, not blanket disagree, but usually I end up finding the wiki page more interesting.

Omg Emma this is a god send as someone who spends hours on Wikipedia.
I do the same (with movies/tv shows as well) - I learn about a topic from the book I'm reading and then I expand my knowledge through Wikipedia pages on the subject.
