Haha, did you read the author's note at the beginning? He says it's just about rabbits. 😄
But.... It's also about friendship, and courage, and ultimately it's an adventure story. I loved it. The new Netflix adaptation is pretty good too, but they leave out Pipkin who was one of my favorite characters.
