I have been taking this rather slowly, reading the Psalms that are given as examples along with Lewis' thoughts. What an interesting mind he had! He so often looks at them through the lens of a great writer, and sees nuances I have either missed or looked at completely differently.

I have read five sections and a selection of the Psalms that he is putting into each category. Of course, his views are interesting to me. I recognize him as a great theologian. He probably exceeds my understanding, but there are a few occasions when I think he gets it a little wrong...he doesn't seem to read the Psalm as I do. Different backgrounds? No hubris on my part, he is surely the more intelligent scholar.

Sara, I was actually thinking about reading this one. I've been on a C.S. Lewis kick lately, and I'm excited to see what you think about it when you're finished.

I have found it well worth the time spent, Brandon, and Lewis always makes me think and ponder. He has hit on a few points that just floored me as being a completely different way to see a particular idea than I had considered before. I don't always agree with him, but I always love battling with him in my mind.A C.S. Lewis kick is a very good thing.
