Hooked so far. The story keeps me curious about what comes next for Marion and Shiva, while every character feels distinct and memorable. Hema has become my favorite—her compassion and determination make her the emotional anchor of the novel. I'm also enjoying the themes of belonging, faith, and colonialism, along with Verghese's vivid portrayal of Ethiopia. I'm excited to see where the story leads.
