If I could do cartwheels...I would be this morning as my best friend Libby has fetched me an ecopy of Book 5 The Star of Calcutta by Sujata Massey!

Now I can finish reading Preveen's 5th book of adventures. I feel Preveen creeping into the modern day cinema and the advent of Bollywood.

Love Preveen the only female attorney in 1920s Bombay...and oh yes did I mention she solves murders on the side?

Why did she come across a dead body first thing in the morning when out walking her best friend's dog ?

Because she's Preveen Mistry and there MUST be a murder to solve.

I usually prefer my mysteries much darker but I can't help it...

Of course I am loving it...
after all it's a Preveen Mistry story.

Even though I usually like my mysteries much darker, I can't help myself I really enjoy Preveen's adventures.

It's so much fun following her through old Bombay.

So delighted that I stumbled on this delightful and smart character and mystery series.

I hope Sujata is planning to write another.

Another delightful storyline centered around Preveen Mistry 1920s Bombay lawyer.

This time around she represents a couple, an actress and a film maker early players in India's Bollywood film industry.
