A couple of things… In Canada you don’t get test results back. If you don’t hear from them within a few days - you’re clean.
There are a few cringeworthy comments in the book. For starters - the fact that people say things like “you’re moving on?” Or “you’re getting over ice cream girl?” In front of her. Or “you’re such a cute couple” in front of them. Awkward - ppl don’t really do that?

Also - she keeps saying she isn’t ready for sex. Yet, she’s the one with the bucket list, and she’s the one who approached him for sex. Hormones would have her ready for sex - nervous, sure, but she’d want it. Otherwise she wouldn’t have approached him. So her “not being ready” seems unrealistic since she isn’t a virgin.

So far, it’s cute. I like that the chapters are titled, but I also find myself flying through the chapter looking for the link to the title in the writing. I wasn’t a big fan of the “fuck it” moment that they actually say out loud. However, Nick’s pain is delicious & I love reading it, so there’s that. However his moping out loud seems unrealistic for the playboy-funny-cool-kid. So far, it’s enjoyable.
