Was not expecting a love confession in this book, poor Fitz and the fool. They both know how to hurt the other, yikes
Also, really funny how right after arguing the fool collapses and Fitz is like, is he for real? I should just leave him, but that's my best friend (so of course he helps him)

Fitz is literally so compassionate, and it breaks my heart to watch him treat others the way he wished he was treated as a child 😭😭😭 His compassion with Thick is such a moving character moment

I need Fitz to go get Nettle and teach her to skill. He thinks he's protecting her, but I know she's already skilling too much by herself.

interesting, so it's possible for someone to use all of the magics in this world. they can combine the works of hedge witches, skill masters and the wit. I wonder if Nettle could do this? or maybe Dutiful bc he is already really powerful with the wit and skill
