This isn't bad but there's a whole bunch of "IN THIS ESSAY I WILL-" which is a funny meme, but quite a terrible way of writing. Even in academic writing you're not supposed to go, "I'll talk about this further in chapter 5". There's just so much extraneous writing. Like, you could the 68 pages I've read so far down to about 50 quite easily by less repetition and references to things that aren't really important.
