The beginning of this book was captivating. I loved the history provided and the entire life story we were given and the way it evolved in the present, future and past, but at some point I lost the plot from the perspective of the old flame from school and the baby. I get that we’ve shifted protagonists but it sort of threw me off. Reader problem, probably not book but why it’s on hold.

I’m really struggling to pick the book back up and actually returned it to the library. I do have the audio book so I plan to push through but trying to put me into a reading slump so I am moving on for now.
