The story is set in the summer of 1947, and we are following the troublemaker, Juggut Singh, who is in love with Nooran. They try to meet every other night, wherein all he wants to do is make love to her. Anyway, we know he is on probation and always goes in and out of prison for making mischief. Soon after, a dacoity happens in Mano Majra's only Hindu moneylender’s house, and Juggu is suspected.
So far so good.
