NOT to sound anti feminist but i wish this side character had actually died and haunted the main character. her death had legit gravity for the main character and it feels like poof now that emotional investment is gone now that she's alive and well and about to get married and knows how to use the forbidden magic and is for the most part thriving. like.... all the weight and grief the main character had? for nothing
