By the time chapter 26 is here, I’m ready to DNF. I absolutely hate when one character carries heavy trauma and the love interest minimizes it or makes it about them. He tells her he was kidnapped and help hostage by some creepy molesters. He said no one missed him because he was entitled and people assumed he went home or went with some women. Her take away was the imaginary women, not his trauma

I’m in chapter 4 and I’m already like ikyfl. One, she should have minded her mf business. Two, I know this man has lost his dang mind. I seen the reviews giving it a 1 star but right now it’s at a 4 for a rom com.
