I have no idea why this duke thinks he’s in love with her, they have spent zero time together.

This book is very short and they’ve hardly been together at all. Chop chop, authors.

Sometimes this book descends a bit into melodrama, I wonder if it because this is two authors in one. Maybe one of the two likes gothic.

She describes him as smelling of iron and musk and frankly, ew 😂

It’s gone from pride and prejudice to my fair lady.

This is very Jane Austin.
