Finished through Book 4 and ready for our next Middlemarch book club. As I read Chapter 42 my heart was so fully invested in this chapter I felt as thought I were Dorothea.
Is the narrator trustworthy?! Sometimes I think not! But the epigraph seems to say it all. "How much, methinks, I could despise this man (Casaubon), Were I not bound to charity against it. -Shakespeare Henry VIII

Oh, I am continuing to enjoy Middlemarch. I found the following in my York Notes Advanced Study Guide for the novel this morning:
"The intellectual scale and historical dimension of Middlemarch bears comparison with the epic social realism of the great Russian novelist Lev Tolstoy in War and Peace and Anna Karenina."
